Some of the doula services and packages that I provide are described below. I’m registered as a doula on Doula UK and Developing Doulas. Please do check out my blog for latest information about me and my services. I am from a Muslim background and fully understand the needs of Muslim women. However, I provide services to all parents whether they a Muslim, of a different faith or no faith.
We are all humans and have different needs and sometimes we want our own package. If this is the case I can discuss your requirements with you to design a package specially for you!
If you just need me as a post-natal doula, I’m available at only £25 per hour.
Please don’t let money become a factor stopping you. I am happy to talk and we can take it from there.
During this first phone call we will introduce ourselves and get to know each other. It will give you an opportunity to ask any questions about my services. If we both agree to take things forward, then we will meet face to face at a coffee shop or public place. It will also help us determine if I am the right doula for you or if I can recommend a different doula who will better meet your needs.
As part of the pre-natal session you can talk to me about your previous births, if you’ve had any. This will help us identify how we can together make this birth an amazing experience. We will discuss your birth plan and anything else you would like me to help. Each session lasts 2 hours and usually two sessions are enough but if more sessions are needed we can discuss that. The purpose of multiple sessions is to allow us some time to think and reflect which might generate more questions. In my gold package I offer three pre-natal sessions.
During your pre-natal sessions I am more than happy to attend scan, blood test or any other related appointments.
I will be happy to provide you any information and sign post you to the right place or just be a listening ear and be there for you whenever you feel like talking to someone or want to take things off your chest.
From 36 weeks onwards I will be available on-call 24 hours a day to support you by making you feel comfortable in your home or hospital depending on where you want your birth. I will support you until the birth of your baby by providing you emotional and physical support. I will offer you snacks, water and anything else as and when needed. I will be there to hold your hand and massage you when you ask or anything else I can support you with. I will be there for your partner to give re-assurance that you are in safe hands so your partner can go for some fresh air or take a break. I will make cups of tea for you both and won’t leave until you are both happy and content for me to go.
I will explain details of your birth plan to the mid-wives so you wishes are fulfilled and you have the most amazing birth.
Each session lasts two hours. During these sessions we will talk about how the birth went and let you take anything off your chest. As an NCT breastfeeding peer supporter, I will support you with breastfeeding to make sure the feeding is going well. If it’s not going well I will point you in the right direction and get you professional help. If you would like me to hold your baby whilst you have a shower or catch up on sleep, I will be there for you.
